welcome!

My name is Hannah Coakley (she/they) and I am a Queer RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist) with extensive experience in individual counseling, food justice programming, as well as specialized expertise in treatment of clients recovering from eating disorders.

I graduated from New York University with a BA in Urban Studies & Nutrition. I then received my Master's of Science in Public Health Nutrition from the Johns Hopkins University - Bloomberg School of Public Health. I completed my dietetic internship within the VA Hospital System in Memphis, TN in 2014. I also spent a significant amount of time as a resident of Upaya Zen Center in Sante Fe, NM - my meditation practice deeply informs my work.

I specialize in: recovery from eating disorders and/or disordered eating, trauma-induced feeding difficulties, integrative nutrition, mindful eating, & queer-focused, anti-racist, HAES-inclusive nutritional therapy. I am available for in-person sessions nationally via Zoom.

I am also able to address a wide array of nutritionally focused medical conditions including: diabetes, hypertension, metabolic imbalances, liver dysfunction, pre/post natal nutrition, as well as anti-inflammatory & healing gut diets.

You may reach me via the contact area of the home page or via e-mail: hannah.coakley@gmail.com

last, but not least...what is the pando?

The pando is a clonal colony of quaking aspen in central Utah, determined to be a single living organism with a root system that is over 80,000 years old. I named my practice after this incredible organism as a reminder that though we may appear singular on the surface - we are intricately, inextricably and anciently linked.
